Micro-Business Marketing Marathoner

One morning my neighbor and I were setting on the porch with coffee after our morning run. Janis asked me candid what did I get out of all that running. She said, If you could become a businessman as much as you love to run you probably could be pretty good at it. I said, Businessman? That gave me an idea!

I caught myself when I seen I was getting on my soapbox about the benefits of running. I knew she was right. I said anything in the business world could be learned. What you can't learn has to come from yourself. And,that is the will to succeed, to accomplish, to not stop whatever the cost, to not give up. Your burning desire. What it is you love to do.

I had been a distance runner since my late 30s. So that is, what I did do. Transform the road warrior passion into the home business, micro-business, small business industry.

Once I decided micro-business marketing was my next mission; I set my sites to focus on the unstoppable. For once I knew I wanted to accomplish this; internet marketing would allow me to work from home. Home truely is where your heart is. From where your greatest works are accomplished. With the internet you can be anywhere in the world at any given moment, at your fingertips.

With a home business I could set my own course and work my own hours. Make any amount of money I wanted to. To do my core desire. To do what it is...I love. And, that is to run. That is why many runners run. You would probably have to be a runner to understand my paradigm.

The at home micro-business internet marketing, would give me the time, to practice my true deepest passion. My last marathon was 2001 Ft Worth Cowtown Marathon. However, due to artificial knee replacement later that same year being a competitive runner ended.

In todays micro-business internet marketing world, it will take that marathon mind-set to win! You win by learning to fail. Sometimes your toes bleed, your side hurts and your legs feel like logs. Let's do it. Micro-business!
